In my creative practice, I explore my relationship to my body as a disabled trans person experiencing chronic pain and gender dysphoria. I cope with my discomfort by using the imaginary realm. I draw on my vivid imagination and synesthesia - a condition where my senses overlap, allowing me to have a complete sensory experience beyond the natural world. The colors, patterns, and sounds I experience internally shape my art, allowing me to translate abstract sensations into vibrant, otherworldly landscapes. I reimagine nature’s complexities through bold colors and intricate forms, depicting genderless figures that invite anyone to form a deeper connection with my inner universe.
